Review: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.

Hey guys! Sorry that it'd been a while since I last posted. I've just been busy with my end terms coming up.
Anyways, here is my first review about the much-hyped Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains!

I actually got to know about them way back in January through a bunch of Youtubers. This product was being raved about like crazy. So, naturally I wanted to try them out. But they were not available in Indian stores. Luckily, a month later they were on an online shopping website called healthkart.com. I looked up the  swatches of the shades on google and chose two and I immediately ordered them. I was so excited to try them out and I was glad to see that it deserved all the hype that it got!

So, I'll go ahead and insert pictures of the 2 shades that i got and their swatches.

This is the swatch for the shade ADORE. And needless to say, I adore this shade! For me, its a shade that i can wear on a regular basis to college. It is a shade that can be built up with more swatches. it is glossy with a hint of a golden shimmer. LOVE!

This is the swatch for the shade CRUSH. Lovely plum with hints of red. I wear this when i feel like dressing up for college!

PROS:

  • Like the name suggests, this product is a mix between a lipstick and a lip balm. True to the last letter! Color like a lip stick and moisturising like a lip balm.
  • Great for a youngster who wants to start wearing lipstick!
  • Easy to carry around. Simple packaging. Easy to use- just twist the lower portion.
  • Lots of different shades to choose from according to your liking.
  • Leaves a nice tint of color after some time.
CONS:
  • The packaging made of plastic looks a little, umm, lets say cheap.

Hope you like this! take care :)

Accessories Haul.

Hey guys! So today's post is about the jewelry that i have purchased in 2013. This haul includes pendants,
earrings and necklaces and bags.Hope you enjoy!
Again, I'm sorry for the bad lighting. Please bear with me!

So lets start from the top most, going down. The first pair of Cross earring, i picked up just 2 days back in Jodhpur. I've been looking for a jewelry with crosses and spikes, because I've seen this trend growing popular with each passing day and I personally like it! Second are a pair of  silver turquoise stone earrings. They were given to me by my Mom. I love this stone and love turquoise as a colour too! Lastly, are a pair of artificial gold-pearl earrings. I thought it is a necessity to have such a pair to wear with ethnic clothes. The 2nd and 3rd pairs are from Hyderabad.

I purchased this necklace from Accessorize. Hyderabad. It is a short rose-gold necklace. I don't usually wear hearts on my clothes but this was so delicate and petite that i fell in love!

This pair was given to me by my Mom. This style is supposed to be traditionally Rajasthani. However, my Mom picked it up from Hyderabad. Yellow and Blue - classic combo!

These are definitely my grandest and most favorite pair of jhumkis! Again, given to me by my Mom. I don't know what to say, I absolutely love these!

This is a pair of wing earrings that I bought along with the cross earrings. I thought thss would look good as my second tops.

I love this pendant because of the stone! And as its is artificial, its not too bulky on my neck.

I purchased this bag from Promod. Hyderabad. I lone that store! I instantly fell in love with this bag. I love the stud detailing at the bottom- subtle, without looking too wild. This is good bag to carry to college, with my laptop and stuff. Love love love!
I purchased this simple black clutch from Lifestyle, Hyderabad. I needed a new wallet, so I went with this one as I would ultimately put it in my bag, so this seemed classic and practical to me.

That is all. Hope you enjoyed this post. More coming up! Stay tuned!

Spring/Summer 2013 Fashion Haul.

Hey guys! I am so excited for the new galore of spring/summer trends this year. So I had to go check out what was new in stores for us!
Here is my first haul. I bought some stuff  I want to share with you guys.
( I apologies  for the horrible quality and background of the pictures. New blogger problems!)

This is a bright coraly-orange colour peplum top from Ginger. It has beautiful laced sleeves and the material is light and flowy.

This is undoubtedly my favorite purchase of mine! I love love love this Maxi dress from Ginger. It is strapless and clinches below the bust. Absolutely gorgeous! So excited to wear this!

Again from Ginger, I purchased this pair of sandals. They are comfortable and very versatile.

I am absolutely in love with this pair of studded loafers. I bought this from a local shop in Jodhpur. Honestly, I have not broken into them, so they are a little uncomfortable at the moment. But I can't help it- this is just such a stylish pair of footwear!

This is a top from Chemistry that i purchased in Hyderabad. I love this orange- it is such an offbeat colour. I do not own anything in this colour! Plus i love how the from and back of the top are made of two different materials.

This is a simple white top which is a staple, regardless of the season! This is a Promod top that i picked up from Hyderabad. I totally love the intricate detailing in the top. It just gives a very effortless look!

Hope you enjoyed this tiny haul! Happy Spring/Summer, guys!

Neon OOTD!

Hey guys! This is my first blog post. I have been contemplating on starting one for almost a year. so finally, I have mustered up the courage to do it!
Here is my first OOTD (outfit of the day). The 'Neon' trend has been really "IN" 2012 and i absolutely love it! I wore this outfit to a brunch party with my friends. We had gone to a lovely resort. Since it was a hot day, I did not feel like wearing jeans. Instead I opted for a black maxi skirt. i wore very minimum accessories as the neon yellow top was so bright and I wanted it to be the center of attention of my outfit.
I completed the look with a black studded bag and a  black pair or sandals.

Neon top - Splash.
Black Maxi Skirt - Designed by me.
Black Bag - Promod.
Sandals - Ginger.
